The DC Scout Women's Boot was inspired by DC's shoe line, and is suited for those of you who want to take that skate-show look onto the mountain. The Scout also makes the BOA Lacing System available to entry-level riders. It features DC's new Stock Liner, the outside offers support while the inside flexes on contact with the foot. It has a water-resistant synthetic leather upper designed to help keep moisture where it belongs, outside your boot. The boot's interior has a foam pad in the calf area for increased comfort, DC gave the Scout a cut-and-buff midsole to reduce weight. Repeat this magic formula -more comfort plus less weight equals a great boot. The sole has been designed for great traction in the snow. The lining of the main glove is Reusch DryZone XR designed to keep your skin dry and warm. The insulation in the main glove is Thinsulate? 3M and Fiberfill. The unique microfibers of Thinsulate insulation are about ten times smaller than the fibers of other synthetic insulations - which means they?re much more efficient at trapping air. . . and more effective at keeping you warm and comfortable.
